The goal

Plan connectivity, segmentation, and room for expansion across a fictional organization.

Project approach

The ABC Company Network Design Project is a comprehensive end-to-end network architecture created for a fictional multi-building enterprise. The project includes full physical and logical planning—covering switches, VLANs, subnets, structured cabling, redundancy plans, DMZ firewall rules, wireless coverage, and equipment budgeting. The design supports 389 hosts, 8 departments, and 3 interconnected buildings, with expansion room for two additional buildings.

Project collaborator: Joseph Rieke

The deliverable

The completed design covers 389 hosts, eight departments, and three connected buildings, with allowance for two additional buildings. This is a design exercise rather than a documented production deployment.
